AP:hydroponics
Determine the maximum number of plants that can be supported in a hydroponics system. Given the parameters from class.
Density of foam- 100kg/m^3
Mass of plants-.5kg
Volume of foam- .012m^3
Radius of opening in foam for plant r- .08m
Key to solution.
Draw a picture
Create a fbd
Write an equation For sum of forces interms of the number of plants
Set sum = 0
Solve for # of plants
You should include at minimum the step listed above. A nice picture with some color would be awesome.
Oh and state the objective first!

Mid Term Review
http://www.nysedregents.org/physics/
This is an excellent source of review questions for the Midterm. The types of questions listed under the January Exams are similar to the 100 mc questions on your exam. Do as many questions as you can. If you have question, post it hear hopefully someone can help. Be sure to post the year and question #.
