AP Physics
Hey guys. I might be out for a while. You need to really hunker down and read ch.3 2D motion.
Main Ideas
Time does not have direction
Therefor tx=ty
Set up all problems in x and y as separate problems. (you will be able to solve for time in one 1 of the directions)
Finally: the motion of the x does not affect the motion in the y. They are independant!
Check:
A bullet is dropped and a bullet is fired horizontally from the same height.
Which hits the ground first? If you said the one that is fired, reread the above, I you said the dropped one reread the above.

Popper Lab
Things to think about:
What is a pop?
How long is a pop?
What is the maximum height of you popper?
What is the velocity max of your popper?
Why can't you use a stop watch to get the time?
What is the acceleration of your popper?

Easy as Pie
Hey questions post them here.
Can I use 2 different scales for each axis?
Yes, while it is not preferred sometime it just make sense and is necessary.

CH.2 1-D KINEMATICS
Things to remember:
acceleration negative or positive?
Define your frame of reference
Vectors have direction!
The sign of the "vector quantity" indicates its direction.
It's,its,its'?
