Fc Right Round The Lab
LEARNING GOALS OF THIS LAB:
1. Use your knowledge of Newton’s laws and circular motion to make a prediction about the outcome of an experiment.
2. Apply your knowledge of Newton’s laws to solve a practical problem.
3. Use two independent methods to determine a quantity experimentally.
4. Evaluate simplifying assumptions that you use in your mathematical procedure.

Student Responsibilities.
Record Data in easliy viewable tables
Show a sample calculation for one trial
Calculate % error
state reasons for discrepancies

    I was out on Friday when we did the lab and I would just like to know like Arsene what you would like me to do as we do not have access to the materials during class and i just want to make sure that I do not get a zero at the end of the marking period if you aren't here.

  7. I wasn't in school on monday, and my lab partner (Jennifer Strenger) was also absent, and we didn't finish the lab on friday. I looked for you at lunch today, but you weren't in my room. I was also wondering what I should do. Jen will not be in school until Thursday so will I have to finish the lab by myself tomorrow? Also I just wanted to know when I would be able to finish it.

  9. i thought centripetal force was Fc=ma

    1. centripetal force is Fc=mv^2/r which is technically also ma because centripetal acceleration is v^2/r. it's just more specific for when the object is going in a circle

  16. for acceleration . . . F=ma . . . and it says centripetal so do we use Ft?
